Does anyone know anything about the Yanmar B32 mini excavator? There is one for sale locally, with 2900 hours for $12,900. The ad says it's a 7500# machine with a 24" bucket. I can't find any specs on it, Yanmar doesn't list non current equipment on their website. Google doesn't turn up anything on it!

How big of an engine does it have? How wide? How capable is it? Does Yanmar make decent equipment?

I'm thinking of it for farm use, building trails, excavating slides along the driveway, etc. I have a little Kubota B21 backhoe but would like something more capable.

Thanks,
Ken

That is more than likely a Grey Market Yanmar. I have had a B-27. It was a very capable machine. Parts for the Greys are available but not without some extra effort. I now have a Yanmar VIO 27. It is a US model. I have only a couple different models to compare to, but I personally am very happy with the one I had and the new one I now have. That machine has many hours left on it but if it wasn't maintained it will have some repair work needed to keep it going. There are many lower hour Greys out there.
