I've been searching for engine kits for my 1972 IH 3444 to rebuild the engine. It still runs, and not that bad, but I changed the oil this weekend and found trace amounts of anti-freeze in the drain plug cup. I believe that the head gasket is seeping antifreeze into the motor. It also needs reringing, and I know that the crank is .0015 under on the two inner rod bearing. I did a bearing replacement over 10 years ago and "miked" the crank. I ran across these TISCO engine kits on the web from TRACTORKITS.COM and was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with them, know if they carry a quality product, and if any name brand parts are included? The engine is a diesel BD154, 4 cylinder. Thanks in advance, IH 3444.
