They are made for mulching for those of us that bought one. Expecting them to be made to handle the job as they were advertised to do. They constantly break down, catch on fire. overheat and are provided with an underated incompetant AC. You just can't afford to mulch with them because they suck all the money you make or hoped to make from you. And my axle has broken along with other expensive issues. OK. Skidsteers aren't made for mulching. I'm an ASV owner. Sorry DIGDEEP that's the way it is and the purpose of a discussion forum.

Ax man and Palmettobrush. No offense taken. I'm only an owner of a RC50. While my machine has been nearly flawless for my purposes, it appears that you guys have had problems. As a former Bobcat salesman I can understand what it's like to sell machines that encounter issues.

I guess my only question is why have you guys owned multiple ASV machines instead of another brand such as Bobcat, CAT or even Supertrak? I'm not saying this to be sarcastic or smart about it, but it just seems that since you guys have had so many issues you'd have gone to another brand by now. I know I would have if the others could perform anywhere near as well as the ASV machines.

BTW...I have seen numerous Bobcat and CAT machines burned down up here. it seems to be a big hazard.

Some research I did recently that would exclude a few brands from the start.

Bobcat T-320 case drain too small at the quick couple at the end of the boom. Second, radiators stacked, all of them one on top of another. Additionally it pulls air from on top of the engine compartment. It would take about, oh two minutes to clog with debri. Plus lowest hp rating and lowest psi.

Deere, Again case drain size problem and haven't heard of one running a mulcher yet that is not having cooling problems. I sat in the cab of one and I'm not a claustrophobic person but that is a poorly designed cab.

I am not backing any one brand but I would choose my battles very carefully. And they will all burn if they are not properly cleaned out. I have seen many a gyrotrac burned as well and they have the most purpose built screen/hood setup.

I think they will be a few new options on the horizon. All the skid steer manufacturers are not solving the problems leaving the door wide open!
