Hello, I'm looking for info from anyone that has owned or operated a Gehl sl 4525 skidsteer. I recently sold my old Bobcat M600 skidsteer to upgrade to a little bigger and alot newer machine. A local dealer has this 2000 Gehl and I can't find much info on this model. All I've found is that it is 42hp Ford 4 cylinder gas engine and has a lifting capacity of 1250lbs. I've not talked with the dealer yet, I just looked at the machine after hours. It looks to be in good machanical shape (tight pins, no leaks, clean engine compartment, new tires), but could use some new paint. One thing that bothers me is I didn't see any remote hydraulic hook ups. Unless they are in a spot I didn't see, it didn't look like it had them. I thougth most skid steers had remote hydraulics? My old 70s M600 had them. Any feedback on this Gehl will be apperciated.
Thank you

On many skids the front hydraulics are never used and on some makes and models they have always been an extra!
