Several, all used and abused.
It's a 1998 555E 2 wheel drive with 1,500 hours on it. Asking price is $17,500 and it was $1,000 more last week.

Tires, paint overal apperance look good from pictures and talking to the dealer. I'm going to look at it and maybe a few others this week.

What should I look for if the price is reasonable.

Delivery is $1.50 a mile which is $150.

Thanks,

If your heart is dead set on a New Holland then I think I'd check around.

I have a bud who has about seventy Cat 416B's and C's. He told me New Holland came to him and offered comparable loader backhoes for about half of what he's paying for Cat's.

Weatherford School District bought a 555 with less than two hundred hours on it at the Richie Bros auction in Ft Worth for twenty three thousand. It shines like a ruby in a goat's backside.

This information is from this year or late last year.

Check Point2 and Iron Planet (URL's below). Certain makes are popular in certain areas. Around here there are very few NH's but a lot of Cat's and Deere's. If you are price conscious it is worth checking out the underdog brands in your area for a bargain. I would also check out my local NH dealer as you will be needing dealer support at some point in time. Even if you do not buy the machine there you will need parts and service.
