case 450 dozer question
hello everyone , need some help with a case 450 dozer , friend has bought one that needs repairs and knows nothing about it . seems that its losing fluid out of the right side steering clutch , anyone know where i can get a diagram or any info about this machine?any help would be appreciated.

Case track machines are usually pretty easy to work on (compared with other brands of track equipment) & even for older machines most wearing parts can still be procured new or S/H - you should be able to access a parts catalogue on line via this link Parts | Case Construction

How bad is the leak? It would be nice if he can put several hours on it before tear down.
The local Case dealer stated it needs to be worked to get it hot to know if it will pull when hot. I think he said if they do not pull when hot then the torque converter may need to be replaced.
