Well I finally bit the bullet and bought a unit. Just been waiting to find a good enough deal on one. Lost my chance at 3 other machines cause I couldnt decide if I wanted to spend that much but now I have. I think I did ok on the unit. Its a 2002 kebelco SR35 with 3424 hrs. It came with a quick attach and a 24 inch bucket. From what I can find for info it will dig about 10.5' which is plenty for me. I was going to just buy a trencher but for what guys are asking for those things, I bought this and it is much more useful. Ill have to post some pictures once it gets here. My friend is picking it up tomorrow for me.:)

Nice! I have an '03 SR35...it's been a great litttle digger. 12'", 18"' 24" and 36" buckets for mine. Mind if I ask how much you paid?

Ya mine only has the 24 inch bucket for now. I found some new buckets for cheap but there the wrong style quick attach. I paid 15000 but 500 was shipping. It has the auxila3y hydralics but no thumb yet. Does yours have a thumb. I should have it by thursday as my friend is picking it up today. I priced a new bucket the other day and I almost fell over when they told me the price.

Ya so far so good. Been using it here lst few days. Lots of fun thats for sure. But I do need a smaller bucket. This big bucket takes lot to move the dirt. I think I found a couple smaller ones to buy. But Im also gonna try to build a thumb here soon as I think it would sure be hndy.

Any one know were I can get a manual for this machine. I have a couple things I want to tinker with and a manual would be most usful. I have put 20 hrs so far and this thing is awsome. No complaints so far. I need to source tracks soon too if anyone has a suggestions.

Thanks

That sounds like a nice machine. you will like a thumb to move small stuff.

Locally when the stimulus money runs out there may be many for sale by the contractors putting in fiber for the large rural telephone company.
