Anyone know anything about Kubota KH 033 or Kubota KH90

Looking at a local grey market Kubota KH033 (same as Kubota KH90). Unknown service history, unknown hours. Machine runs good, no leaks, no smoke, walks and talks. Tracks and undercarriage have a few hours left in them, but need some TLC in the near future. Anyone use one or have any insights into them? Is it worth buying, or look for a newer machine with a known history?

I recently paid 11,500 for a much smaller machine of a similar age with 3,000 hours. Might be a good deal if you are mechanically inclined. Lots of Rock in your area though so not sure how much digging before blasting lol. (missed my annual trip to the Grotto last summer)

The KH units were good machines, old school, all mechanical linkage no pilot controls.

I'm trying to think back, but I don't think they were switchable until the KX series. I could be wrong though.

Ah, current owner thinks it can, but I want to make sure. I am used to backhoe, cant run excavator to save my life.
