I have a friend that has an older JD 750 dozer. When he tilts the blade to the left the forward movement of the dozer stops. This is a hydrostatic transmission. As soon as he tilts the blade to the right, it will start moving again. He can raise and lower the blade and it does not affect anything, just when he tilts the blade left. Any ideas where to start? Thanks. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Just a guess, but check and see if the blade frame is flexing. It might be pinching a return line, starving the transmission of fluid. If the blade frame is flexing, check for a broken mount or weld close to the attach point. As I said this is a wild guess and without examining the dozer there is not much to go on.
