    Default sears surburban v/s cub cadet 1200

    o.k. here's the deal I found a cub cadet 1200 and a sears suburban ss12 for sale different people but both g/t in about the same shape both only come with mower deck I can buy the ss12 for for $400.00 the cub 1200s' bottom price is $750.00 I'm wondering which is the best g/t I was thinking the cub and whats the best deal for my money by the way I will only be cutting grass with it since I already have a tractor thanks

    Does the SS12 have a Tecumseh motor? If yes, then I'd go with the Cub and it's "K" series Kohler for ease of getting parts. I've not had great luck in getting parts for the older Tecs. Also easier to get parts for the Cub in general..... but $750 is kinda high for that tractor.

    yea I think its high also and the ss12 does have the tec motor so what I'm thinking both are a little high and also with the drought around here I havent had to cut grass but twice this year
