Hello,

My current tractor (ys4500) has 20x8x8 tires on it. I was wondering if it would be possible to put bigger tires on, like maybe going from a 20" diameter to a 22" diameter, and maybe an 8" width to a 10" width. Would this be possible? Same with the fron. Enlarge by about 2 inches.

Thanks

Easley done with a 2 wheel drive tractor. A 4 wheel drive tractor MUST have the front and rear tires of the correct diameter or you risk blowing the front wheel drive and that = $$$$$.

The circumference of the new tires MUST increase proportionally back:front if you have MFWD.

I don't have 4wd on my tractor, so thats not a problem.

Thanks for the info. Would I have to get new rims also?

Thanks

I'm wondering because I wanted bigger brute tires for moving snow. Would it be better to just get chains for front/rear tires and wheel weights?

Thanks!
