    Default YS4500 deck maintenance

    Hey all,

my YS4500 has seen better days as it currently is only being used for cutting overgrown weeds. When i clean the bottom deck i notice that the blades dont turn so freely any more, what can i do to make the blades run better therefore cut better? New bearings or can i just remove the blades and grease the spindle?

    Thanks

I do not know your machine but if it is like mine I believe the bearings are sealed. You can give it a try as you are going to have to take it apart anyway if you are replacing bearings (assuming it is the issue). Might be just in need of some rust removal or a bit of oil
