I'm trying to remove the front PTO, (Screws stripped) the starter generator pulley, and the flywheel. I bought a flywheel puller, but it will not work as my flywheel doesn't have any puller holes. Do you have any ideas on how to remove these parts?

Thanks for your help,
John

1. front pto has 2 setscrews per hole. Sneaky little buggers.
2. Crankshaft /flywheel removal. Ummmmm, we always drove two cold chisels as wedges between flywheel and block, BUT NOT TOO HARD.
loosen flywheel nut about 1 turn, then place a second nut on the shaft and snug it gently up to the first. Then with a small sledge hammer hit the second nut squarely. This should loosen the flywheel. Don't hit the crankshaft threads, hit the nut squarely. If you don't use two or more nuts, you will almost certainly snap the threaded portion of the crankshaft. This is NOT a good thing. Think first, smack second.:D

My Front PTO set screws are stripped, Any advice on getting them out? And I will give that a try on the flywheel!
