I noticed the grass was not being cut as I expected it to be. I found the spindle on the right side to be spinning around without moving the blade down below. I can find no way to connect the spindle to the blade shaft. Is there any way to easily do this as I am not very mechanically inclined but do know how to use a screwdriver.
I've had the Cub for about 3 yrs, had the usual belt throwing issues, but overall it's been a good machine. I have nearly 3 acres to mow, level land, formerly pasture land. I know the 1045 is considered too light for 3 acres but I only mow 1 acre at a time so I fool the Cub into thinking I have only 1 acre.
Anyhow, can anyone tell me how to connect the spindle to the blade drive shaft? I appreciate any help I can get.
