mogdriver,

Absolutely! For almost years I've had a similar unit hooked onto my old John Deere 175 Hydro without any problems whatsoever. That rig had a 14 HP Kawasaki engine with just the standard on board electricals. I did, however have a standard sized 12 volt car battery in the tractor, not for sprayer duties, but for longevity and cranking power when the tractor had sat for longer periods. I got tired of replacing the small lawn tractor battery that typically lasted only 2 years.
With the sprayer attached I wired the pump straight to the battery terminals with an inline 15 amp automotive fuse, and a dash mounted switch to turn the pump on from the tractor seat.
Most Zero Turn tractors have a much larger engine than my rig, and thusly a more robust charging system. You should have no problems at all.

even if the dynamo ain't up to it.. just throw on the battery from your car/truck to power the sprayer.. the lil pump will run a loooooong time off a car battery..
