cub cadet LT1046 streering

hi I looking for some help? maybe some one to tell how to do it or maybe there a free video & can watch on the net ? my cub has lost its steering I think it could be flange bearing & the cogs? but I not 100% sure?

cub cadet (MTD) did have a downloadable service manual in .pdf form for the lt1000/1500 series that would cover your steering setup... look in the cavity under your tilting seat for a ID decal with your tractor's full model and serial number on it. Take that info, go to the MTD manual website (google), enter data as instructed and see if you can still download a free copy.. if not, a dealer should be able to get it for you. Good luck.

I have a LT1046 have you taken off the Deck to have a look?

OP - if you do find it's it's a worn/damaged strg gear or sector gear, best to replace both at the same time as a matched new set.
