Can anyone tell me exactly how to adjust the hydrostatic linkage for more forward speed?

There should be two jamb nuts at a split section of the main linkage running to the transaxle. You probably will need to remove the deck to get right under there. I believe loosening the nuts and tightening the linkage should get you more forward speed (I might be backwards). Keep in mind, what ever you gain in forward, you will loose in reverse and vise-versa. All this should be spelled out in your ops manual.

Thanks for the reply. Removed the mower deck and found the hydrostatic linkage behind the pedal . Adjustment nut only requires 5 to 6 full turns counterclockwise to totally eliminate reverse totally. Turned back clockwise until desired forward speed was achieved. Man what a difference in forward speed. Reverse will be at what you set it at. Also putting a washer between adjustment nut and cotter pin before re-installation will also take slack out of the linkage system.
