This may be the wrong place to ask this, if it is could anyone tell me who to ask. i have a cub cadet RZT 50 the PTO disengages when i go in reverse. can i modify it so it will cut grass in reverse. thanks
Usually there is a switch under the mower that is activated by the reverse pedal. Find the switch and bend or move the switch operating lever so the pedal does not depress it.
The zero turn mowers have two reverse switches one for each steering lever both of which have to be engaged for the the pto to shut down. You only need to disable one. acording to the wiring diagram for my Z50 they are normally closed switches so all you should have to do is put a jumper wire across the connections on one.
