Guys

I just found a sweet deal on a 2008 Cub Cadet 1050. It had 12 hours on it, an 80 yr old man bought it to mow his yard..and was selling it because he was moving to an apartment in town. Anyway, this is the 1050 that has the 25hp Kohler Vtwin engine, 50 inch cutting deck..seat with armrests etc etc. It was in mint condition PLUS he bought a 4 year extended warranty on it. He gave me the original receipt and he paid $2400 total for it, that included the add on warranty that transfers over to me.

Anyway..here's my questions. I had an MTD 17hp yardman that I bought the 42 inch, two stage snowblower for (part 190-032)...both the MTD site and Cub Cadet site say this is the same blower that will work on my new Cub...will it be as easy a hook up as it was on my MTD? on the MTD it was as simple as removing the mower deck, attaching the "idler pully plate" that mounting via 4 pins under the mower..then sliding the blower onto the "pegs" on the front of the mower and attaching the blowers drive belt.

Also, I have a twin, rear bagger I bought for my MTD Yardman as well, and would like to use it on my new cub...my MTD had a 42 inch cutting deck..will this bagger work on my new Cub?? I'm unsure of the part number..but is the side discharger on the 50 inch wider and bigger than what was on my old MTD?

Thanks for any help

Congrats on your new Cub! I am not sure about the snowblower. The bagger might work but I am sure the discharge opening on the Cub will be larger than the Yard-Man. I would check with a dealer on it. You may be able to get the discharge chute you need.
I know the bagger for my Cub is specified for the 44 inch deck

Hope this helps!

awesome photos! Looks like it will be a fairly direct fit for me..I have all the xtra parts as well...so from your photos I should be able to figure out the hook up fairly easily.

I appreciate you taking the photos
