Firing order...1-3-2
Bore:
7232/7234/7235...82mm (3.228 inch) [let's call this type 1]
7272/7274/7275...84mm (3.307 inch) [let's call this type 2]
Stroke:
type 1...78mm (3.071 inch)
type 2...90mm (3.543 inch)
Piston Displacement:
type 1...1235 cm(3)...75.36 cubic inch
type 2...1496 cm(3)...91.29 cubic inch
Compression Ratio:
type 1...18.7 to 1
type 2...18.0 to 1
Governor engine speed without load...2650 to 2750 rpm
Rated engine speed...2500 rpm
Engine idle speed...970-1000 rpm
Max HP (per SAE J816b & J245)
type 1...23hp @ 2500 rpm
type 2...27hp @ 2500 rpm
Valve clearance (intake and exhaust, cold engine)
....0.25mm (0.010 inch).
IMPORTANT: Valve clearance adjustment must be made when the engine is not running and cold.
