Cub Cadet 7360ss
I just picked up a 7360ss for cheap money but I didn't get any manuals with it. I want to do a full service on it but I am floored at the cost of the filters. $150 for a hydraulic spin on filter, $110 for a simple air filter!!!! There must be a cheaper option. What kind of hydraulic oil does it use? Engine oil? Also, my glow plugs don't work so I assume it's the controller like everyone else's. Any info would be helpful.

I pulled your unit up on the Cub Cadet website. I looked up both Hyd. and Air filter up on the Wix website with no luck. Only filters Wix list for it is Fuel filter #33262 and oil filter #51365. You might be stuck getting the Hyd. and Air filter from the dealer. Engine oil would be 15w40 diesel oil or you might run 5w40 synthetic diesel oil if your running in cold temps. They do make 10w30 and 10w40 diesel oils they are just harder to come by.

Well, I have good news. Carquest in Maine has our tractor in it's books and they have the oil filter 85365 $10, fuel filter 86262 $14, and the exact same air filter 88387 $44. All of these filters are supposedly made by wix. They also have Hy-tran hydraulic oil and 10w30 diesel engine oil. The only filter I have to get from Cub is the hydraulic filter for $160, which is a rip off!

Well, it was to good to be true. The Carquest air filter arrived today and it is too small by a lot. I'm not sure why it called for it in the catalog but it's wrong. So, I ordered a wix46496 from Amazon and I will drill the bolt hole out. It at least is the same size.

Looking at the Wix site, it looks like this is the part number for the Air Filter for S/N 21848 and after.

Thanks for the info. My filters are arriving this week. Now I have to figure out why my differential lock doesn't work but I assume it's broken in the diff and that was estimated at $1500 to fix.

Napa had all the filters I needed and their online cross reference is pretty good

Do away with the glow plug timer relay. They fail and will turn on the glow plugs when running. Use a momentary push button switch to control a 30-40 amp auto relay. Also the glow plugs are like $50+ each from CC. Oreilly's has a similar Nipondenso GP for $7.50 The original CC GPs are 8.5v, Mitsubishi spec'd a 10.5 or 11 volt in the S4L2. You can find the (Mitsu) engine repair manual on line. Oreilly's is the higher voltage and works fine.
