I changed the drive belt on my LT1046 and removed the PTO bolt with a cordless impact and when I reinstalled it I was alone so I didn't know how to hold the engine to torque it down so I used my impact again. I have 3 settings on it and the first setting is anywhere up to 80ft-lbs and the second is 250ft-lbs. I gave it 3 small bursts on the 1st setting and 1 tiny burst on the second setting. I was afraid of it coming loose, can I damage the clutch this way? Should I loosen it and have someone hold the flywheel from the other side so that I can torque it down to 50ft-lbs I think? Or should it be good with the impact?
