New Cubs

I can't wait for the mowing season! For those that want a zero turn mower with a steering wheel it has hit. To be able to steer your front wheels and have indpendent control over the rear drive wheels gives excellent stability on steep grades. Unlike all the machines that are built with front caster wheels to guide these do steer! Should be a hit!

What's the difference between these new Cubs and the JD SST lawn tractors? JD discontinued the SST's. They did not do well on slopes.

The i1000's are a cool idea, but with conventional steering and a ZTR type of transaxle, that's a lot of expensive parts on a lighter duty machine.

I stopped at the local dealer this weekend, they had a i1046 there. I'm not a big fan of the hood design, looks kinda tacky. The machine doesn't seem very heavy duty for the price. IMO they should've used the 2500 series as a starting point for this new model.
