Cub CAdet 7360SS Hood

I'm a new tractor owner and for the life of me I can't open the hood to get to the fuel filter. I have turned the hood releases both to the "dash" and "O" and still not able to open the hood. Any advice would be helpfull.

Chuck: Turn it to the --- mark. I believe that's open. 0 is closed IIRC. Gently pull the bottom of the panel out and it should pop. If not I've got it backwards and reverse the latch. Once the bottom pops out lift the panel. It sits on a groove on the top and must be lifted out. Both side panels operate in the same manner.
