digging trench
Hi I've got a 2450 I've cleaned out creeks built a road and cut banks back now l am going to run about 500 ft of water line in a strait line and the ground is level can I use the trans bypass and pull or push the tractor while digging without doing any damage to trans any advice would be appreciated this is my first hydrostatic drive tractor. Thanks.

Do you have the manual for your 2450?
I have the same tractor so I looked at my manual and is says:
"Do not operate the Hydro Static Transmission pressure release lever while the engine is running"
So I would say no.Cub Cadet/Yanmar TLB Sc2450, Ratchet Rake, Front Snowblower, Back Blade, Spreader, Middlebuster.

Ihave often wondered how you pushed around a hydro witha backhoe . I would get a stick long enough to hit the go pedal .
