The spray on graphite (Slip Plate) didn't last very long at all. I bought a gallon of Slip Plate 1 from Grainger and painted it on with a brush and it has held up pretty well. I have been powerwashing the the deck and re-applying it about twice a season.

I am using it on my garden tractor and want to apply it to my finish mower also. The aggravating thing is the bare metal must be showing and no paint or it will not stick well. I guess I am going to have to sand blast the underside of the mower. It has worked well on the lawn tractor though.

All I did was suggest that the man read the post in the treads where they were posted . What's so hard about that?????????? Why are you going so far out of your way to make a simple issue so complicated?????????

Alright boys, we were talking about graphite coatings and somehow got sidetracked onto spray in bed liner material for mower decks. If anyone put that stuff under a deck you would never get all the grass and stuff off of it. Might as well shoot glue under there.
Now back to the slick stuff. Mower Guard works pretty good but is a pain to apply because it must go on bare metal. ![]()
