Default Generic Gauge Wheel Source?

I have a 48" King Kutter brushhog. It has a single wheel in the rear and skids on front. As I mow our pasture, which is uneven ground, I often tear up large sections of grass when one of the skids makes contact with the ground. I would like to add some type of gauge wheel to the front of the cutter to prevent this. Does anyone know where I could purchase a generic type gauge wheel assemble that I could modify to fit? I have been unable to find anything like this at TSC, Northern Equipment etc. Thanks.

Have you tried resetting your toplink? Sounds like you have too much of an angle from rear to front.

I could start another thread, but I'll try here first, I would like to find some guage wheels myself. I've got a flail mower I want to replace the roller with wheels. And a backblade and rock rake I'd like to wheel up too. Where'd you get your wheels?

You can get them at agri-supply. However, you will need to do some fab work.
