How much of a difference did the front posts make in stiffening up your sun shade? I'm in the early thinking stages of building one for myself, but I'm hesitant on putting posts up front if I don't have to. I see it done both ways and my backhoe has the front posts, so I know visibility isn't an issue. Just don't know if I want/need them yet. Thanks, Eddie

Eddie:
Thanks for the kind words. The front posts made a remarkable difference in stopping canopy bounce. I wish I would have done it sooner. My original plan was to install the monitor without the front posts, hence the long cable runs from the battery necessitating heavy gauge wire. If I didn't add the front posts, I figure the monitor would meet an early demise due to vibration. I highly recommend adding the front posts whether one intends to add bells and whistles like I did or not.
