Default Modified Log Splitter for Quick Hitch

Sharing how I modified my RamSplitter 3PH mounted log splitter for use with my Speeco Quick Hitch.
  1. Removed the lower hitch pins.
  2. Welded a 1/4" x 2" x 6" extension to original hitch pin location.
  3. Drilled through new steel and re-mounted hitch pins
  4. Cut through upper frame tube to allow QH top hook to pass through
  5. Added bolt with bushing for top link hook.
  6. Paint

I wish I had it! After 2 full seasons of splitting wood by hand, I am about to buy me something! Looks good and thanks for sharing.
