We were at 50 degrees today, the runoff from one treeline was enough to keep a 4 foot culvert over full and going strong.

They are calling for one to two inches up here, we are checking the low roads a couple times a day to check when we are going to have to close them. We canceled an appointment in Fargo tomorrow, the way this stuff is going we could get out but not back home.

The water running through here is higher than the 97 flood
was.

We've got some weather coming in but hopefully later in the week I'll get a couple night shots in, that photo of the lights are just the work lights, I don't have any of the regular lights turned on there.

These lights are a sealed unit, you can't get into them, so if enough lights burn out you will need to replace the hole unit.
Man the weather sucks out your way! I sure hope it blows out to sea and doesn't linger over New England.

When you get a chance to get-r outside and try those lights out let us know if they're as bright as you hoped they would be. I want to add some lights, and I like the idea of low amperage draw, but I'm gonna need to see while moving next year's snow.

We'll we've been on road patrol the last few days, we are flooded over higher than I've seen in 30+ years, we got
10+ inches of snow last night and today, I'll be hitting the yard tomorrow with the blower and back on road patrol, we only have one east west road open all the way and none of our north south roads are fully open.

I'll get the lights tested when things get better.

I'm starting a new post over in Rural Living to follow the snow and keep this one on the Lights.

Any follow up on the brightness of the lights? I bought a pair to test out but haven't done anything more than hook them up to a battery.
I've tried to find out output in Lumens, but couldn't find it yet.
/edit
I did find out that "HID bulbs typically produce 71 lumens of light per watt compared to 18 lumens of light per watt for standard halogen bulbs. " (http://www.aa1car.com/library/hid_headlamps.htm), and CREE has an LEd that puts out about 120 Lumens/watt.

I have the same lights but they are still sitting in the bottom drawer waiting to get installed.

Does anyone have wiring diagrams for something like these?
I don't want to blow $130 of lights.

I have LED running lights on the front of the cab of my NH backhoe and I think they're noticeably brighter & sharper than the bulb type counterparts on the rear of the cab.
