John Deere 445
I recently injured my right ankle and have a hard time pushing the reverse pedal with my heel. Has anybody modified the controls for forward and reverse? It is the most cumbersome thing to use. In the wintertime I find reverse almost impossible with large winter boots. Any ideas what i can do.

Re: John Deere 445
My father hates the controls on my 445 and I can see where they would be a pain to use. I was looking at adjusting it some time back, and I think they are a one piece pedal. Can you use your toe to pull up on the forward lever without pain? That would be an easy mod. and you could use about anything to extend the pedal to allow you foot to get a grip under the pedal.
