Here are some pics of the bucket hooks and D ring I added.

I welded 2 bucket hooks to 3/8" plate on the outside and then welded a large D Ring to another 3/8" plate on the inside of the bucket.

They were then bolted together to "sandwich" the bucket.

Nice setup! Question, Are you sure you want the D ring there? What about interference with firewood or something like that in the bucket ?

The D Ring swivels 180 degrees, so it can stay out of the way.

I like the way you did the double hooks. Most people use the chain off the front of the bucket, which can bend or scar the bucket. Some people will lift from one side only. You can always lift more from the back of the bucket, and a chain from both sides going through the D-ring down the back is even better. I am thinking a few people will copy your setup.

You could probably sell something like that to guys like me that don't know how to weld. Wonder what the shipping would be from Alberta Canada?
