Default Lights, Mirrors and Seat Cover Mods

HI All

Finally have some time to post a few mods. Adding mirrors are very handy. I had a few leftover dirt bike mirrors that I added to the new metal canopy reinforcing frame. I tapped and just threaded them in. They work great and aren't too big although I have already hit my head a few times getting on/off not watching.

The more fun one was adding lights to the same bar which should prove very handy for nighttime winter plowing during those short winter days. Mounted high they should give great light. These are high impact tractor flood lights so the description says. They looked quite rugged. Mounting them on the bar as well by drilling holes through and running the wires to a switch which I mounted on the panel beside the other light switches where there was a blank and them powered from the fuse box. They worked great. The pics are before being wired up

Not a mod but very nice addition I got from our everything store in Canada (Princess Auto). The padded seat cover goes over existing seat and has convenient pockets on the back for gloves, rags, lunch etc. Quite rugged and designed as a tractor seat cover.

Enjoy Dave

Dave,

Nice job. I like where you mounted them. I was going to ask about your canopy but found where you had posted your thread about the re-enforcement of the canopy. Looks good.

You'll enjoy having the mirrors, and I have mine mounted up high like your are. Good work.

Thanks for all the comments.

Here is a pic of the switch. It nicely fits in one of the spare/future dash spots.

I tried them when it was dark and they give off a lot of light.
