| POR 15 - coating under side of MMM with it?? Hi All,
Got the MMM all cleaned off, and away for winter. I wondered if painting it with POR 15 next spring would be effective, or would the grass stick to it?? POR-15-POR-15 Inc.

| Re: POR 15 - coating under side of MMM with it?? i used por 15 for the frame of a car, it has held up pretty good. if they make it in a gloss i'd get that. (i did mine in a simi flat)
also just an fyi to use por 15 you will have to strip all the paint before applying. |

| Re: POR 15 - coating under side of MMM with it?? I did the rusty deck of my honda push mower with POR this year. Its held up great! I put 2 coats on.
I also painted the topside of the deck. The factory paint was still solid but there was a couple scabs. I didnt strip the paint and its held up fine, that POR sticks to anything. (just try getting it off your hands )
I use POR on pretty much everything that lives outside. Expensive but worth it.

| Re: POR 15 - coating under side of MMM with it?? por15 IS AMAZING!
I put it on a trailer that sits outside in Wisconsin, and its been on the trailer for 15 years now. The trailer is steel, and has been used and abused, and the POR 15 is still 100% on the trailer.
I spilled a few drops on my garage floor, when i was painting my trailer, and I tried scraping it off, and I absolutely can NOT get it off of the floor. Its literally as tough as the concrete. It really impresses me.

POR is a polyurethane like Gorilla Grip glue.... Stuff is STICKY!!!

larry | Por 15 was always meant to be topcoated if exposed to direct sun. They make an excellent paint called hard nose for this. Any chalking is only an appearance issue in my experence ,the rust protection remains

| Re: POR 15 - coating under side of MMM with it?? Be sure to coat any POR-15 that will be in the sunlight.
It doesn't hold up well to UV rays.
Unless they change the formulation.
