well- having hooks on the blade could be useful for something I guess, but there not loader arms, just the fast attach. I think the top of the front blade should be reinforced and have a SINGLE hook in the center. This would prevent too much twisting and allow him to lift a small branch (  ) and move back with it. | |

How much lift and strength do the front blade arms have? I'm envisioning a fairly simple structure designed for pushing, not pulling and probably not designed for lifting much more than the blade itself.
Front end loaders are designed fairly heavy to do lifting, pushing, back dragging, etc.
Of course I'm sure it depends on the design of the particular machine.

assoon as you started to pull back with the blade, wouldnt it want to "spring over" just s if you hit something hard going forward while plowing?

LB; you will have to install hooks to whatever you have on the ft. of every BX you have in order for this to work as you have planned.

Put the hooks a few inches from the bottom or on the cutting edge.

usually i dont question why some OP wants to make some mod. after all its not my junk so what do i care.
but honestly i cant think of one good reason to have hooks on the front of a snow plow. (although i can think of a ton of bad reasons of why not to)
my suggestion.
dont waste the time and effort to do it.

I picked up an almost new Curtis plow last summer,, It had a hook installed on the top center of the blade,,, It was kinda handy to lift the plow up and put it in the rack for the summer.. Not too sure what else i'll use it for ..
