there's a reaso why the small hand-squeeze tube costs about 2x as much as the long gun-type tube.

I've had good luck with the liquid tape stuff. Just solder up the joint then paint on the liquid tape which I let dry a while and paint on another coat.

Just finished mounting a rear work light on my JD 2305. I soldered the connections and put heat shrink over them.

I re-installed the light because I just had a cab put on my tractor. The work lights were on for three years, installed the same way with no problems.
