I bought this one at Advance Auto Parts for about $8.00. Made the mount out of a door hinge welded to a piece of flat metal.

Good idea. How did you keep the hinge tight but still adjustable?

I replaced the pin with a bolt and used a nylon lock nut to keep it tight yet still adjustable.
