Awright, here they are.. such as they are. taken at night after working in the dirt for about 8 hours. I did not mask off the sections, I took everything out. and did it indoors, I do not highly recommend that. it was a lot of work to get the pieces out and back in. Good old Japanese engineering, "this piece has to come out before this one, and on and on and on." Also more springs and linkages than I would have thought.
Oh also here is a good photo of the Carter quick hitches, and my counterweight loaded with dirt tools.

Certainly a lot more work taking the parts out to cover them, but you've done a professional looking job here. Congratulations!

Thanks, it was only about 100 degrees in the shade when I disassembled/reassembled them and I must have sweated a gallon on the tractor. I was actually worried about rusting it.:(

Well probably not...I got about halfway thru the disassembly, and thought about turning back, it was not much fun. I decided to do the disassembly thing because I have never been any good at masking off things for painting and I did not think it would take very long. Wrong!
But the results did look pretty good, expecially when it was clean:) and it really helps especially on that center section where my foot hits it every time when getting on, the rough surface really helps traction, and the paint was getting worn off pretty quick. I am hoping it will wear well, and will be easy to recover in place (just hit the worn spots) I have lots of material left, I used maybe 1/4 gallon

It'll hold up... I 'painted' the metal floor of my motorcycle trailer 5 years ago. It looks as good today as when I covered it, and it sits outside in the weather year 'round.

My brother has a bedliner machine so I had him do the rusty floorboards from my 855.

I think it looks real good. May try that on some of my stuff since I still have some left from a truck bed I did about a year ago.
