I have seen a B7500 with a belly pan made from 1/4 ? in. plate. It was flat with about six bolt on hangers. Can't recall how the oil plug access was handled.:)

It is possible. Just ask the mechanic's a few questions.:)

I would include easy cleanout access in the design. If it fills up with a lot of chaff and grime it could become a very expensive firepit.

How do you like that radiator price?

I was wondering myself about stuff that people say, "if I can knock it down with the FEL the Bush Hog will take care of it" run over with their FEL then Wacke with the bush hog? What is the collective conscious opinion on running brush down for the bush hog? A protective skid sounds reasonable.

I can tell you for a fact that the Ford 8N's with the belly exhaust didn't like to be ran through the brush.
