We have had issues with the lights on our BX2660 ever since the cab went on. The cab kit relocated them to outside the fender, right where they get hit when you get close to the fence to mow. The first broken light has been replaced and I decided to relocate the lights today.
The cab kit mounts the lights to the same bolts as the lower door hinges. I decided to relocate them to the top hinges.
This necessitated extending the wires, so I used some pieces of 4 conductor trailer light wire.
I cut the original wires 2-3 inches from the lights and soldered/shrink wrapped the new wire in the middle. I was worried about the wires chafing, so I ran them inside some plastic fuel hose that we had laying around from another project.
(Sorry, no pics of the assembly)
The fuel hose was stiff, so I cut a short piece of loom to put between the light and the fuel line and used the rest between the fuel hose and the hole where the wires go through the fender.
I finished by using zipties to mount the fuel line to the cab frame
