    Thank you, I wanted to build a foot step for a B series tractor that wouldn't effect the ground clearence for this size tractor. It has made a huge diference for him.

    Ten years ago I bought a B7800, and found that it was a bit tiring getting on and off the thing. So I bought a ready-made kubota left-side step (I forget what model tractor it was intended for) and installed it on the B7800. Made it much easier for this "senior" to use the machine safely and comfortably. One thing I had to allow for was sufficient clearance for the mid-mount mower that I use frequently on my property. If the step hangs too low, it will prevent the mower from rising properly.
