Need more HP in my 2012 gmc 2500 6.0L

I recently bought a new 2012 gmc 2500 6 liter. I wanted the diesel but got an awesome deal for this truck and just couldn't pass it up. Anyways I'm gonna be putting 35's and a lift on it but before I do that I wanna gain a lot more hp and torque. I've already been lookin at supercharges and programmers and cold air intakes etc., but I wanna get some other opinions on what I can do to make this truck **** on wheels. Money is hardly a variable cause I've been saving for a long time to do this. Lookin forward to hearing some good advice.

Nice.... Big tires need big gears. For 35s I wouldn't put anything less than a 4.56. Supercharger with meth injection will run you around $4.5K

I had completely forgot about new gears to help run the bigger tires. Thanks for that. What would my hp and torque gains be with the supercharger and meth injection?

First thing to discover is if the ECM can be reprogrammed. I know that the newer ones will keep a record of the number of flashes and depending on what you do, you will void the warranty.

Vortech doesn't list a kit yet for the 2012's, but the earlier 6.0's are seeing 100 Hp increase.

I would go with a whipple supercharger. A centrifical supercharger or turbo would be nice but I think a whipple will make more bottom end torque. A set of long tube headers should really wake it up, if you can run them in your state. Short tube would be a waste of money. I would hold up on a cold air intake in case you do add forced induction because then the cai will be useless. A cat back will help a little but mainly it will sound good. You will probably want to regear like tim said.

I guess it depends on what your plans are for the truck, but I think 4.56s are a bite much for a daily driver on 35s. A Super Charger or Turbo will wake it up.

how much $ are you going to put into this as compared to just getting a truck with the duramax?

...might want to check out some of the GM truck websites for more info, but lifted/big tires/big hp add up to constantly breaking things...
