Yes they are Grote. Never an issue with them. Here's the original thread along with a video like in the thread.

The camera is a Cab Cam. I use it all the time. It's never turned off. Here's the original thread.

Thanks. Booked mark the cab cam. Got to look over my unit and see how I will install it. $300 is a good deal, now i know it works well.

Much appreciated your time with this.

And i agree.. the more lights the better. Visibility(to see and to be seen) is 1st priority. You see my milk truck when i back into farms you would think I'm scared of the dark. Also, the new LED's make it easy to install more lights and not be worried about the draw on the wiring and alternator. I've got 4 Grote Trilliants on my milk trailer. 1 on each side and two on the back. Incredible lights, and low amp draw. But you got to throw out a few $$$$'s for them. I start work at midnight and as you know up in the Northeast, no daylight until 7am. Oh yeah, i got some kick azzed HID's for moose lights mounted on the moose bumper. My truck would blend in well with the Newfies up there.

Your more than welcome my friend. If you have any questions feel free to ask. You'd never know it but I like light too
You'd love the camera. Good luck.

Meant to ask also, how does the snow dust effect it(camera)? Get much problem with snow sticking to it and effecting the view? Might put one of these in our snowmobile=ile trail groomer. Big snow duststorm all the time.

The only time I have an issue with snow on the camera is when the snow is really blowing around and hitting the machine from the back and usually during a blizzard. The camera will get the snow on it but then again I won't be able to see out the back window either if it were not for the rear wiper :confused3:
I know there are cameras out there now that have heated cameras but I've never needed one. If I did I'd have it :D

If you get a lot of snow dusting in the groomer you could place the camera in the cab pointing towards the rear and let the wiper keep the glass clear allowing the camera to always see. Just a thought.
