Re: Added Remote to FEL...
Kennyd.....
Good to see you back, I think you said that you weren't gonna be around much because you were building a house ??? Right/Wrong ?? Anyway, I always enjoyed & learned from your posts & glad to see that you're back in the groove. Again, as usual, I think it's a great idea & setup, thanks for the info. How are you operating & controlling this ?? or did I miss something. This will be left/right angle ??

Re: Added Remote to FEL...
Kenny you did a great job of making that project look as though it was a part of the JD package. We have been looking around for a similar valve arrangement but after seeing yours I really don't think it can get much better. Thanks for the great ideas. Hope to find out how it works for you after you get her all wired up.

Re: Added Remote to FEL...
Thanks GoodGuy, I did finish the house, been in it for about 3 months now. I sure learned alot being my own GC!
As I said in a earlier post, the wiring/switch installation still needs to be done...

Re: Added Remote to FEL...
Here is the 30 amp relay mounted on the right side, it is triggered by the ignition key "ON" position. This way all the aditional current from the valve solenoid is handled by the relay and 10 gauge wire feeding it from the battery. I will also hook up ROPS lights to this relay when I add them.

Re: Added Remote to FEL...
Here is the switch on the dash to operate the new remote, It is a sealed switch that I got at TSC.
If I get home while the sun is still out tomarrow I will put the loader back on and post some final pictures.

Re: Added Remote to FEL...
Kenny, Looks great. Very professional job. My front remote is factory stock on my TN and requires the use of the rear hydraulic controls- quite cumbersome. I will look at adding a setup like yours to my 2120 as right now I run the lines for my grapple all the way to the rear hydraulics.

Re: Added Remote to FEL...
Kenny if that dash switch is nothing more than a SPST switch then I might suggest that you mount a momentary contact button switch on your joystick as well. That way you could use either switch and never take your hand off the joystick to work your grapple.
