I built this four or five years ago after I had my old B7200 in the ditch three times trying to get the snow back from the edge of the driveway. Ive just adapted it to my new tractor. It never cost me a cent, I scrounged all the parts and pieces from old junk at work.

Not sure how this pin will stand up yet. I modified it a bit from the last setup. The springs are out of reclining chairs.

This bracket is just a clamp I made. It doubles to hold the chain box as well.

I used a piece of chain so that I could have a little bit of float when plowing as there is no float position with the rear remote valve.

It works great, I've had it on my previous tractor for four or five years.

Great Idea!

Do you have a shot of how it hooks to the rear of the tractor? And maybe one with it up in the "stowed" position?

Very nice job! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Steve,
It looks great. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I always enjoy seeing home designed items workout like yours has. I think that the float chain would bother me, but I don't know how I would change it right off. Some engineering would have to be involved it that. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
