Wow, nice cab and tractor. Can the cab be removed and if so how long does it take?

I have a Kubota L3430 and am considering the Curtis Soft Cab to use in the winter. I need it off in the summer to get under trees and in buildings. I may build a shelter type cab out of PVC pipe and plexiglass.

Collin, do you have any pictures of exactly how the heater hoses connect to the motor ? Are there connecters that take advantage of access points to the water jacket ? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The doors come off in a matter of minutes and the windshield and rear window do as well. If the trees and buildings clear your ROPS then you should be good my cab is just a 1/2 inch or so shorter than the ROPS. Except I have the work lights up ontop and the strobe. I would suggest if you can to get the cab with the hard sides, becuase the soft sided one dosn't have slideable windows and i use them a lot even when its snowing out becuase it gets kind of stuffy in there and opening the front window lets the water in from the snow hitting the warm windshield.

Here are a few pictures of how the hoses come out of the cab and into the engine compartment and then a couple of how they connect into the system i labeled them heat tube 1 and 2.

Thanks ctc1111. I see that the inflow to the heater comes off that upper connection intergrated with the temp gage sender and the return involves splicing into the lower radiator hose with the shut-off on the return side. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Is it worth it to insulate the inflow hose or does the heater supply plenty of heat ?
