I second the Miller Bobcat,I bought one a couple years ago and it is 10,000 watt. I have a 200 LE Miller that I'v had for over 20 years. This unit has the Onan engine and made 5,000 watts at 1800 RPMS. Which is alot quiter than the Bobcat making electricity at 3600 RPMS.

I bought an old Lincoln G8000 about 9 years ago. Done a lot of welding with it and it came in real handy during hurricane Isabel. Kept the essentials running for 4 days.
