I am looking for a loader for my 3184.

Here are my options so far.

Looks to be the strongest one of the bunch, and has its own pump. $2,500 ouch!
http://www.kwmanufacturing.com/asst/pdf/cc_general.pdf

Uses Cubs hydros does not have a sub frame. $1899
New Page 1

Looks pretty weak, but I am waiting to get some photos and details on the new design. $1,400 - $1,700.
https://www.kellyproductsinc.com/fro...ader_info.html

Does anyone know of any other brand? Not a Johnny bucket either I need this to be able to lift a lot higher then a Johnny bucket.

Which one do you think is the best?

my deck on my 3185 keeps slowly sropping. about 1/2 inch every 45 min. ive been keeping an eye on it to keep it from scalping the grass, but this is aggravating. would this most likely be the center lift mechanism causing this? ive priced them at 275 which is pretty steep. could i possibly have this part rebuilt so the deck stays where i put it? or am i off-base?

I purchased a new battery and turned the key with no result. I believe the problem is either the starter solenoid or voltage regulator. How can i properly diagnose these to determine where the issue is? I am also looking for a good source of Cub Cadet parts and manuals. Any ideas you may have is appreciated.

My 3184 has been making some strange noise since I got it from the hydraulics. It is so bad sometimes I can feel in in the steering wheel. I have narrowed the noise down to either the charge pump or the part the drive shaft bolts too on the transmission. Anyone every heard of this? I have replaced the fluid and filter, and that did not help at all.

I am new to this forum, just joined. Did some web searching because I may need a new engine. Bought my Cub 682 used in 1987 with only 50 hrs on it. It now has about 970 hrs. Tractor is still in good shape, always garaged and maintained but the engine is now acting up. Started using oil this year and I have a problem with governor (I think). It runs fine while cutting crass then all of a sudden it starts revving very high. Have to bring the truddle way down for the RPM to drop. The local guy tells me the governor shaft might be getting stuck. He told me it makes no sense to rebuild because of labor costs. I am not an expert but have some mechanical skills. I read on the site there is direct replacement from Honda. Has anyone done this already and how did it work out for you? Was it a direct fit, any wiring problems or voltage issues? How do I figure out the right model to order; how do I make sure it will fit. I understand Kohler made many diferent versions of my engine with drive shaft size diferent and voltage and wiring, etc. The label on my 682 says I have a Kohler 17 Series II, and the serial number is 14236390.
Many thanks in advance.
