Hello again!

Life is full of surprises. I purchased my CT335 just a year ago, and though I didn't order this option,
I just discovered that it has a mid-mount pto. See attached photos. The only things that are missing
are the mid-mount pto engagement lever beneath the seat and the pto shaft cover. The newly discovered
pto does work but I just will not be able to dis-engage it to use just the rear mount pto.

MY question is: Is it possible to add the mid-mount pto engagement lever myself, assuming that I can get
that assembly from the dealer? I'll be checking with my dealer tomorrow, but thought I'd throw out the
question to forum readers for their comments.

Loader Lifting Capacity Bobcat CT 235

I asked other Bobcat CT 235 owners about the lifting capacity of this tractor but never really nailed a weight down. I wanted to know before investing in Bale Spears for large square bales.

In any event, I finally decided the only way to determine this is purchase bale spears and find out for myself. I bought HLA triple bale spears and after arrival went out and brought home two 4x3x8ft square grass bales weighing around 1,000 lbs.

My neighbour gave me an old ballast he had on his property that he wasn't using (weighs about 950 lbs) and presto, I'm ready to go!

The tractor picked them off a flatdeck one ton truck without problems and I stacked them on top of each other. I'm guessing, but I think I may have had another 100-200 lbs lifting capacity left.

I would include pictures if I could get my computer working right and will do so when I have solved that problem.

Just thought I would let CT 235 owner know what mine did.

While preparing to do a complete grease job on my CT335 (Bobcat
performed the first one during the 50 hour service), I noticed
that the steering components were different than that shown in my
manual. The manual shows two hydraulic cylinders, one for the left
wheel and the second for the right wheel. See attached photo.

My CT335 has one cylinder, clamped to the frame, with a rod from
each end going to the right and left steering knuckle. See attached
photo. As a result, mine has no grease fittings for the steering
assembly, while the manual shows 4 fittings, two for each steering
cylinder assembly.

Has anyone else with a Bobcat CT335 have the same steering
arrangement as mine??

On the same subject, the steering cylinder has what appears to
be a threaded plug on the left end of the cylinder. See attached
photo. Does anyone with this steering arrangement have this
plug, or is it maybe a broken grease fitting? No sign of grease
in or around the plug.

I just noticed for the first time that Bobcat & Kioti use different loaders for the same tractors...

The specs are pretty close, but I noticed that on Bobcat's loader, the curl piston/cylinder attach is right to the Quick Connect at the bucket... Which is different than every other loader I've seen, whereas that lower cylinder is attached to a intermediate pivot piece.

Anyways, does anyone have any direct experience with both loaders so much that they can say which loader is better?
