When I got in tonight there was an email from Lisa (tractorwidow) informing me that Leo (LWFrisk) passed away last night.

Sorry to here about Leo. The only way that I knew him was his posting here, but he seemed like a fine person. Our thoughts and prayers will be with Lisa.

Really sorry to hear that Harvey. He seemed to really love your zest for life, I think that is what gave him strength the last couple of years. Our thought and prayers go out to Lisa.

Harvey, I'm sure sorry to hear that Leo is gone. I've been reading very little on TBN the last week or two, and getting very little sleep, because the rest of the time I've been at the nursing home with my Mother, and she passed away about 8:30 yesterday morning. And the hospice folks have informed my brother-in-law in your city that his wife won't live more than 2 more weeks maximum, so we were over there this afternoon. I guess those things are to be expected when you get to be our age, but it ain't easy.

Bird,
I don't know what it is about this time of year, but it seems like we lose more at this time. I am sorry to hear about your mother. No matter how old you are or how long that they have been sick, it is still one of the hardest things in the world to lose a parent. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom Bird. I know you were close.

It's terrible about your sister in law also. If there's anything I can do please don't hesitate to call.

Thank you Don.

http://www.harveylacey.com was Leo's passion. In fact it wasn't until lately that I've even visited it beyond checking out the number of visitors.

I posted my pictures and words on TBN or another site and Leo would capture them and transfer them to harveylacey.com. He'd tell me how big the site was, so many gig of this or that, and how many pictures etc were on line. The only thing that I sent directly to him was the Viet Nam stuff.

Some of the guys from my first outfit in Nam had contacted me and we were talking about having a website. I asked Leo if we could add it to mine for awhile. He insisted and we were able to get the stuff from the original 267 Signal website along with a bunch of pictures other guys sent Leo up.

I've got a bunch of pictures and some neat stories on a project I'm on right now. I've hesitated starting another project thread here with it because it's going to be different without Leo being involved.

I used to call him on my way home. He'd ride along with me and Lucy and we'd talk about everything from life in general to how to do a project in just enough of a different way to make it unique.

I miss those moments terribly.
